Being Cool

Stepping into high school can be a challenging experience for young boys, emotionally and socially. For some, simply fitting in amongst new peers is the biggest and sometimes most challenging experience. Students often believe that "being cool" means adhering to social pressures and following the crowd.

This program aims to inspire and empower young boys to make positive respectful choices for themselves. Students will gain an understanding of how their actions affect others and how respect generates positive outcomes and relationships for themselves and others. Students will be empowered to know that you can still "be cool" by being themselves, respectful, inclusive and kind.
