GIRL ZONE
Direction Exploring has teamed up with Kombiz Youth
Network to bring you Girl Zone, a program for girls in grades 5
& 6. Kombiz Youth Network connects young people with their
community for social, personal, spiritual, and recreational
development. It does this through a range of recreational and
educational programs both within and outside the school
environment.
Girl Zone is designed to inspire, motivate and
empower young girls to reach their full
potential.
Some of the ways in which Girl Zone program will be
beneficial:
- Inspire children to see
themselves in a positive light
- Educate them on what makes
a 'healthy self', body and mind
- Build self confidence,
trust and leadership
- Opportunity to make new
friends
- It is a safe & fun
space to come after school
Term 1 finished with great success!!!!
Girl Zone Term 2 will re-start on Tuesday 13th
April from 4-5:30pm
** Please note: Girls can start midway through the program
A small donation of $3 is asked to help contribute to the
running of the program each week, however if it is a child's first
time to Girl Zone then it is FREE!
